We sat down and thought about what to do. And we decided it would
be nice to give you a little list of music we really enjoyed in January. Of
course this is only K-Pop and we also liked some other stuff. (Lyza and I
especially liked Fettes Brot since we went to their concert just recently, if
you know them please leave a comment and tell us we're not alone!)
However this list is only filled with K-Pop and we tried to also list some
songs you might not have heard cause they haven't been promoted and you
probably didn't listen to the whole ablum, we must confess most of the time we
don't listen to the full albums either but we took the time and made us to find
all those great songs for you!
So let's get started!
Topp Dogg - Arario
We must confess that we weren’t really
hooked by Open The Door but Arario is such a great song. It’s catchy, fun and
just makes you dance to it. Best news yet: They released a teaser for this song
so there will be an MV!
Rain - 30 Sexy
Is there much we need to say about this
song? I mean Rain is Dirty Sexy and we couldn’t agree more with him! Love the
song, dance and his whole comeback!
- La Song
Uhh what the video for 30 Sexy was kind of
lacking this one had it. Plus La Song has this really catchy, sightly weird
chorous that just makes you love it!
- Superman
Read: Rain. This song is a bit more on the
techno/autotune side but we still really enjoy it!
- Where Are You Going, Oppa? Feat. Hyuna
This Song. Is perfection in the form of a
song. The way she asks him ‘Where are you Going, Oppa?’ And the way he answers
in the same whiny tone, get’s us everytime. We hadn’t thought so but Hyuna and
Rain make a good couple, music wise.
DBSK - Something
My what a comeback! We loved the song from
the second we heard the Teaser and we ended up loving it. Sadly the album did
not hold up to the song in our opinion.
Girl’s Day - Something
Now that was something! Even though we did
not really rave about the MV, we really disliked the fact that it hinted on a
plot but never went through with it, we love the song! It has a subtle
sexiness, a very catchy choreous and the girls look so perfect!
- GDP Intro
This is only an intro but it’s so good we
had to include it on our list! It’s upbeat and it features a male rapper, we
think it might be Zico from Block B but haven’t found out yet. In our opinion
this song is the perfect example of a great into to an awesome album!
Gain - Fxxk U
This was only a prereleased song as a
preview for her album with a really strong MV. This is a ‘duet’ with Bumkey and
their voices work really well together, complimenting each other in the best
way possible.
Gary - Zotto Mola
We didn’t think we would fall in love with
this so much but right now the Gary Album is something we listen to a lot.
Zotto Mola is a very calm rap song that just shows how good Gary is at rapping,
and man he’s really good.
- Shower Later
This MV caused everyone to be shocked and
well it was quite revealing. Next to the MV that we really have mixed feelings
about we do really, really love the song. The song just causes you to nod along
to it, relaxing and really feeling the vibe.
-술취한밤의노래 (Feat. Jung in)
There is a strong experimental feeling to
this song as well as that it sounds very old school. But after listening to the
album for a few times I can admit that this is my favourite song on it.
K-Much - 뭣모르고
This is the male pendant to Crayon Pop,
the song is even the same but completely differently arranged. Just as Crayon
Pop it has a Kamen Rider, or something like this, feel to it. We are also madly
in love with the dance they developed to it!
Dalshabet - BBB
I must confess we didn’t give this song a
second listen for a very long time since we really didn’t like the MV much. But
then I turned it on and felt as if I had travelled though time back to the 80s.
The first thing this song reminded me of was Soft Cell’s Tainted Love!
- 그냥지나가 (수빈 Solo) (Feat. BTOB 일훈)
This is Subin’s solo and it features
BTOB’s Ilhoon. It’s a solw song which normally isn’t my forte but the vocals
are just so strong that I fell in love with it anyways.
B1A4 - Lonely
Sadly we can only repeat what everyone
else keeps saying. This is a slow song for B1A4 but it totally sounds like them
anyways. I think one of the most important archievements for a band is to carve
their own personal style and B1A4 did that.
- Drunk With Music (CNU Solo)
Finally Shinwoo got his own solo and it’s
good. It has a slighty groovy vibe but it’s fun and easily the second best song
on this album in our opinion!
Kiss&Cry - Domino Game
This might be the band nearly no one of
you heard about before, we hadn’t either and just spontanously decided to watch
their MV and fell hard for the song. It kind of remids us of trot but with a
heavy pop beat.
Spica - You Don’t Love Me
This might be my favourite Spica song ever
but I could also be heavily influenced by the whole concept they also added to
the song. I am in love with the MV and their styling.

Okay finally I get around to write another review about our next Gmarket Haul. We have ordered more times but somehow I do not get around to update. What ever. Since we won blogger of the month last month we just decided to try again for may and since may is nearly over I finally forced myself to sit down and write this.
This is the first time we used our Gcash to order the things in this order. And all we did order were products form Holika Holika because they were having a sale.
But without me talking further I will start showing you the pictures and write about everything individually.
Since we did only order from [Holika Holika] which is advertised by CN Blue we did put their bassist Lee Jungshin, who is also my bias actually, as the sender.
So we did get this smaller Holika Holika package in a big Gmarket package but didn't bother the photograph it. Ah I think the design is SO cute isn't it? And yes the package was stuffed but that made it just more perfect.
This is everything we did order pulled out from the package and arranged.
Garden Cleansing Foam Green Tea / Lemon
Starting with the not so exciting things we bought. These are two face cleansers one smelling like green tea the other like lemon and I love them both. The green tea one is in our shower right at the moment and I love the feeling you have after using it. They are also quite cheap so you should give them a second look. Oh and this does not get foamy it is like creme and you apply it to your face, no real foam involved I don't know why they call it like that.
Cover Hiding Stick Concealer
So I really do need good concealer because I tend to get dark circles. I got that one because it was cheap and looked okay but not really thinking I would fall in love with it as much as I did by now. This thing smells lovely and it also does it's work so good. The only thing that is bad is that since it's like a pencil I actually managed to break the concealer but it's okay i just have to look out that it doesn't fall out of the container XD
Petite BB Cream (Sorry they seem to be sold out?)
Again because these are really cheap and cute we did but three of these two colours do work really well for us one is too dark. If someone wants a proper review we will gladly make one! But we are really happy with them because they smell really nice but well they are small as their name suggests.
Magic Pole Mascara
With this the actual highlights of our order start. This mascara is just love. It makes such pretty lashes that you can't do nothing against falling in love with it. It just makes the prettiest finish of a nice eyemakeup.
Aqua Splash Toner
So let me be honest. I can not review this product because most of the time I forget to use it. And I have to confess something even worse. I just bought it for the packaging. Ahah. So yes but I like the cool feeling it leaves on the skin after using it.
Mid Night Owl Highlighter
This is the actual reason this whole buy happened. This is so pretty, smells fantastic and is just perfect. But also hella expensive. So when I saw that Holika Holika did have their sale I called Lyza immediately and we decided to order there for the first time. And we are so happy the midnight owl comes in two colour ways one as highlighter one as blush and Lyza decided to get herself the highlighter.
The best part about that whole order was that we did also get so many freebies! I did not expect that because we were this disappointed by Etude house before. But this is just perfect. To list what we got: a box with cotton pads, two make up starters, black kaviar recovery skin and emulsion, one perfume tim, luminous skin starter and one gel eyeliner in orange.

Okay finally getting around to write about our second Gmarket order :D This one was much smaller than the first one (instead of ordering 60 items we got 30) And a bit more rushed because we needed to order it at least three weeks before my birthday. Somehow everything was a bit hectic so we didn’t get around to try much of the stuff but I will tell you as best as I can about the stuff we ordered.

Baviphat Store
This was our first time ordering at Babyphat and even though everything went okay we did not get any freebies not even Cotton Pads. But it was like that with nearly every store but I will talk about that later. So here are the things we got.
Sheet Masks 1, 2, 3
To be honest Lyza just got these because they are endorsed by FT Island, but who can judge her? Haven’t gotten around to try these so nothing to say about that. Oh but their weight was actually totally miscalculated but after we asked Gmarket to fix the weight everything was okay.
Applemint Pore Tightening Deep Cleansing Balm
I actually just bought that because it was kind of cheap and seemed nice. The consistency of this is really oily and it smells like mint gum but I also haven’t tried this yet.
Apple AC Therapy Sleeping Pack
I read so many good things about this sleeping pack. For the longest time I used Lyza’s Etude sleeping pack which was really nice and now I decided to get this one for myself. I haven’t used it often enough to say it does something but it smells nice.
Sweet Fruit Mini Gift Set
This gift set has one lip balm, one lip scrub and one lip tint plus three, trial sized, Lemon Whitening Sleeping Packs. I ordered Apple Liptint, Lemon Lipbalm and Apple Lipscrub and was a bit scared because I read some reviews saying they didn’t get what they ordered but everything was perfect with our order even though the Lemon Lipbalm smells more like vanilla like lemon XD. The lemon sleeping pack smells heavenly as well.
Etude
Sooo Etude. This did really frustrate us because they said you get a free shinee notepad, cotton pads plus a tester of some kind and the only thing we got was the shinee thing. Don’t get us wrong if they wouldn’t tell you that you get this stuff we wouldn’t demand it but if they actually promise it on their posts they just can’t not include these things.
Daily Mask Skin Essence Aloe and Hyaluronic Acid
Lyza got this one for her mom and left it in Hamburg so that’s why this isn’t on the photo, but it looks like the red one we ordered last time only in blue.
Black Head Heating Deep Clean Gel
We tried it yesterday and even though it helped smoothening our skin quite much we didn’t really feel the heating :/ Maybe we did something wrong though I will look for some reviews about this item today or tomorrow :D
Line Nuance Duo Eyeliner #3 & #5
Lyza got these but isn’t as happy as she was with the gold one she ordered. The pink is really light and the silver is more only shimmer than real silver.
Care Nails #1
This is quite oily but we both have the feeling that it’s really good for our nails.
LuciDarling Fantastic Nails Sparkling #Royal Gold
I got this for my mom and this is SO PRETTY. Seriously. On the picture it looks to be more on the copper side but this is really golden anyways the coverage is really good and oh this is so lovely!

This time we did even get a freebie but it was just a little notepad :/ Just like I mentioned earlier they were really picky about giving freebies to us this time. But a tip for Soboro! They have most of their items in at least two identical threads so if you want one thing that is sold out on one site be sure to check the other as well! It helped with both the travel bags and the camera strap!
Tri-Color Ballpen
I’ve been wanting a multi colored pen since I saw really cute ones in france and didn’t get them :/ this one is really adorable!
Rainbow Jewelpens
Lyza got a small package of five jewelpens in Korea but really came to love them so she got herself the pack with ten pens in it this time. The pens are really awesome with a really fine tip (3.8mm) and awesome colors!
Pony Brown Memo Pad
Once again Lyza got one Memo Pad in Korea and I was so jealous of it that I just ordered the yellow one once I found it in this store :3 It has 80 sheets and even though it has a cute picture it also has plenty of space to write on. Now the only problem is I don’t want to use it up D:
Travel Organizer Bags #19p Full Package Travel Bags
Oh this is so handy and I understand why Lyza wanted to have this! It helps you keep your travel stuff coordinated and find important things first when you need them for example for the first night. I also love that some of the cotton bags say stuff like ‘it’s underwears!’ and ‘it’s shoes!’
Camera strap #Blooming Garden
This is one of the most expensive things Lyza got herself this time but it was so worth it! The strap is really sturdy and has anti slide stuff on the inside. Since I like to carry around Lyza’s camera on my shoulder next to my bag it is perfectly secured now and the lace is just really really pretty. This strap is also longer than the one she got originally with her camera.
Fashion
Paw Pullover #Grey
Ah I was so scared because I read some really good and some not so good stuff about ordering at Gmarket for clothes but this cute pullover just got me. We also thought about getting two other pullovers but I was scared one wouldn’t fit me and the other looked really seethough. But this one is perfect. It’s a bit thin so maybe you would have to layer it to keep you warm in winter but with summer coming up it is just perfect :D The only thing I can tell you over and over again is to check the size chart.
Removable Collar #Valley Perl White
This is way more high quality than I dared to dream about! It feels like velvet and even though it probably isn’t it is gorgeous non the less! Lyza also says it makes me look thinner! It’s also a bit on the heavy side with all the pearls but I don’t really care about that :D I think I would like to have the black one as well or another one in black :/
Leopard Scarf
Another item who’s quality was better than I expected! I am quite picky about scarfs so I don’t like these fluttery slightly scratchy fabrics most cheap scarfs are made of but this one is really soft to the touch, thin cotton and the print is also really gorgeous. Just it’s perfect. My mom got this for herself. The small scarf thingy is the thing we got for free :D
200 Lace Cover / 917 Leopard Clutch
So Lyza got the Leopard Clutch in beige from this post and it feels really good like something leatery and it is really cute the only problem is that it is quite small and looked way bigger on the photos D: So it does fit some stuff (like both our wallets) and maybe a book but nothing like a camera or something. I still think it’s pretty cute though.
My mom got herself the Lace Cover bag in red and I am so jealous! Of course for the price some of the lace looks a little … on the cheap made side but nothing that will break within normal use I think. The bag also arrived with three black spots on the front and even though we had a defective item last time and I thought I did make everything right about contacting Gmarket about this issue this time it took quite some days to finally get them moving. All I can tell you is contact them more than once if you really want to be sure they are doing something :/
Earrings
My mom and I also each got a pair of earrings (TA141 & TA301 are the numbers of it but don’t ask me which is which) And what should I say? I am crazily in love with them! I got the round ones while my mom got the double pearl ones :D The only thing not so good is the closing but you can just exchange it with any other earring closing you have at home so I have nothing to complain about.

I got the Sunny Hill album for myself becasue even though it has only three songs all of them are REALLY GREAT and you should listen to them if you haven’t already *3* It was also really cheap if I’m honest. I’m not really sure why I ordered the poster with it probably because it was only +1000₩.
F(x) - Pinoccio
This was in my shopping card faster than I could think after I found out it came with a 100 page photobooklet because I have been eyeing it for quite some time (I really love all songs except for one or two on this album) and that finally was the reason for me to get it. And I am so happy I did because the photos are just really really gorgeous a bit hipster esque but I like it like that!
Infinite - Paradise (Repackage)
Our friend also got herself the Paradise Repackage album and I can so understand that! I would get it for myself again if I hadn’t it at home. I love the song Paradise, and the hidden track, and I like the photos way more than from the actual album. I also like that it always comes with at least one poster. :D Oh and as a photocard she got Dongwoo.
Beast 1st Live DVD - Welcome to Beast Airline (+ Poster)
Ahh I don’t want to be so negative about this but I got this for my birthday and when I wanted to pop it into the DVD player a few days later it told me it was not readable for our region code. This means we have to either get a new DVD player just for the Beast DVD (the CN Blue one did run just fine just for your interest just as both Super Shows I own do) or watch it on Lyza’s laptop but it isn’t the same than being able to watch it on your big TV screen. This means I haven't watched it yet and can't talk about the content.
U-Kiss - Neverland
The last thing our friend got and she had to get it at another shop because Synnara didn’t have it anymore. Last time we tried to order the Super Junior CD from another seller they cancelled it because it got out of stock but this time everything went okay. She is also super duper happy and the album looked great from the inside even though I am not a big Ukiss fan.

So this is the first of two Blogposts about our time in Paris and the Music Bank concert. :D This one is probably the more boring part for most of you, but we took some nice pictures and wanted to share them anyways.
Okay that said I will start talking about everything surrounding the concert :3 (so yes this means I won't talk about the concert in this post) However, let's begin:
We started our journey to Paris on Tuesday the 7th of Febuary before taking the bus at around 10pm we had the splendid idea that we, at least, needed Sistar Fansigns. Said and done, one hour before we took the train to Dusseldorf we started cutting out neon paper and gluing everything together. But it was worth it because first of all the girls actually noticed our signs and waved at us and second we were actually recorded and you are able to see our fansigns twice in the official Music Bank in Paris video that aired on the 18th.
Anyways we took the bus at 10 and for me it was just sleeping through until we nearly arrived in Paris at 6 am. We bought tickets to get to the station Bercy but nothing was really open. We finally figured out that McDonalds would open at 7.30 so we went to the nearest and had a nice cup of cappuccino.
We also needed to freshen up and change clothes. But we did not have an own hotel room for the night, we slept in the room of a really nice friend but she only arrived when we were already waiting in line. In the end we just used the McDonalds Toilet to do the necessaries. Here a picture of the table we hogged (you can also see our fansigns on this one! As well as us using the free wifi :D)
After that we went to the Kpop stores, we also recorded a video how to get there which will be up sooner or later, we went there more than once but here is the complete list of what we got. Three Sistar Albums: The first with Push Push, third with How Dare You and the fourth and newest with So Cool. A CN Blue Bracelet for Lyza as well as a CN Blue Clearfile for her. Three posters: Infinite's Sunggyu, Infinite's Dongwoo (both Photos from the Paradise Repackage) and one with CN Blue. One Infinite Handy Chain.
Around 1pm we decided to bring our big backpack to the hotel because we heard that you could put it in the storage room as long as you knew the person who rented the room you're staying in's name is. We did that without any problem and then just wanted to check out the queue but I will write about this in the other Post I'm about to make :D
Soo we met up with Nadine, the friend with the hotel room, after the concert and went to get a snack at the only open cafe around 12pm and then, after some fangirl talk, went to bed.
We got up early again the next morning because we wanted to go to the Kpop store again with Nadine and since we expected everyone to go there one day after the concert we decided to go there as early as possible. We arrived there and looked through the two stores again before deciding to get a Bubble Tea. The interior was really really pretty *3*
After that we grabbed some Macarons from McDonalds (yes in the French McCafe they actually sell really nice Macarons! I would kill to have some here right now D:) and then went to the hotel where Lyza and I checked in into our own room we had booked for that night. Nadine wanted to go and pick up her boyfriend who was just arriving at the train station and we decided to go looking for the Baby the Stars Shine Bright shop :D After some walking around cluelessly we actually found it. Guys it's so perfect D:
After that we met up with the two again and went to a Korean Restaurant we looked for online. The name of the restaurant is Shin Jung and if you're in France and want to go eat Korean you should give them a try the foot was really really delish! I can't seem to find their Online Page though :/
Mandu
Lyza ordered Bulgogi which was so tasty!
And I get myself Bibimbap
Normally there is at least one thing from the Banchan that I'm not really fond of but all of these were delicious as hell!
After that we did the romantic over kill and went to the Eiffel Tower! I've never been there before but it was really nice to go there once :D
That was really nice the only problem was (not only for that evening but the whole time) were the temperatures being below 0°C. It's really not nice, neither waiting six hours in the cold nor being on the Eiffel Tower.
We got up the next morning at 5.30 to get our train at 8 am (I still don't know what made us book a train this early but we managed it). The three-four hour train ride was okay but the aircon was broken thus creating only cold air which was really uncomfortable :/ But it was okay and we got home safely.
